The NYCwiki Voter Project is a potential project to create crowd-sourced participatory voter guides for local elections. This would potentially be in coordination with WNYC's 30 Issues in 30 Days effort.

Possible content includes the pros and cons of different issues, and the documented positions of candidates on the different issues.

Integration with Neighborhoods

There are about 350 neighborhoods and far fewer representatives in the state legislature. My state senator covers virtually all of Jackson Heights. And we have 2 assembly members. How about we turn the elections into neighborhood events?

Step 1. Go to your neighborhood page and see what elections are next and who the candidates are.
Step 2. Link to the positions materials.

These (materials) might be easiest to sort by senate and assembly district. Tom Lowenhaupt 22:58, 28 July 2010 (EDT)
