Hudson is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is bounded by Houston Street on the north, Canal Street on the south, Sixth Avenue to the east, and the West Side Highway to the west. Hudson is bordered by TriBeCa to the south, the West Village to the north, SoHo to the east, and the Hudson River to the west.
The name Hudson is derived from Hudson Street, the east/west street that runs through the middle of the neighborhood, and for the Hudson River to the West.
